Mindful of the Gospel mandate to serve others, all students are provided the opportunity to take the gift of fellowship and give back to the broader community through service. Service is taught as both an expression of faith and good citizenship, and our monthly service projects are an extension of classroom religious instruction. They help our students understand and respond to those in need.
Students at St. Francis Xavier School have had the opportunity to participate in the several service projects including Walk for Mercy, Operation Christmas Child, Hats for the Homeless, Weymouth Youth and Family Services, Weymouth Food Pantry and Father Bill’s Place. These projects remind us of the many blessings we have received from God, and of our need to share these blessings with others.
